What kind of ambient temperature is more suitable for the use of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene sheet

The ambient temperature of the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene sheet is generally not more than 80 °C. When the temperature of the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene sheet is low, pay attention to the static time of the material in the warehouse to avoid the formation of frozen blocks. In addition, the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene sheet should not be in the static state of the warehouse for more than 36 hours (please do not stay in the warehouse for viscous materials to prevent agglomeration), and the material with water content less than 4% can prolong the rest time.

      The addition of the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene fiber can greatly increase the tensile strength and modulus, impact strength, and creep resistance of the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene sheet. The addition of 60% by volume of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene fibers to ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene sheets resulted in a 160% and 60% increase in maximum stress and modulus, respectively, compared to pure ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene.
